McRental Fees & Payment Options
McRental charges a fixed platform service fee equal to 10% of the total vehicle rental price for every confirmed booking made through the platform. This fee applies only to the car rental amount and does not include additional services or extra charges such as vehicle delivery fees, return fees, fuel charges, deposits, or optional extras requested by the customer.
The platform fee helps support and maintain McRental's services, including customer acquisition, booking management, platform operations, visibility for agency listings, and continuous improvements to the rental experience for both agencies and customers.
Full Payment at Vehicle Pickup
Customers can reserve a vehicle through the McRental platform and pay the full rental amount directly to the car rental agency when picking up the car.
For this type of booking, McRental applies a fixed 10% platform fee based only on the rental price of the vehicle. Delivery fees and return fees are not included in the commission calculation.
The 10% fee is charged to the agency and deducted from the agency’s McRental account balance after the booking is confirmed.
In-App Partial Payment (10% of the Rental Price)
Customers can also choose to pay 10% of the rental price directly through the McRental app when confirming their booking.
This payment represents McRental’s platform fee. The remaining rental balance is paid directly to the car rental agency at vehicle pickup.
With this payment option:
- The agency receives the remaining rental amount directly from the customer
- No additional McRental commissions or platform fees are applied
- Delivery and return costs are fully excluded from the 10% fee calculation
